Back to real life...

Well, when last Sunday rolled around, we were all tired, worn out, sore from dancing...me, and probably had a deep pain in their stomach...I know I did, I wasn't sick, but sad that Buck and Thea had to drive back to Colorado and Kent and Emma had to board a plane to Phoenix, and the boys and I had to make the 2hr drive home and leave mom and Jenni standing in the yard waving bye...I hate that...I really do...

You know, when you don't live really close to your siblings, mom and dad, etc, you get used to the idea of them not being there physically...but when you've been with them for days, it makes it that much harder to leave them...I'm not trying to get all sappy on ya, but come on...you would think after all the years we've lived far from each other it would get easier...Nope...it doesn't.

These are some pictures of Sunday afternoon, right before everyone parted ways...these are bittersweet pictures for me to look at...

how many people does it take to un-hook a beer wagon? 2 adults and a child I guess...

Those are some great pictures! I have to say that while it can be sad to be away from your family I think that it makes getting together more important and more meaningful. Sometimes I kinda take for granted that my family lives relatively close to each other, so parting ways isn't always a bad thing. :)
