In the barn...

I have stumbled upon on a blog that I think that fits me like a glove...it talks about garage sales, thrift shops, flea markets, etc...pretty much all the places I love to go and look for trinkets and treasures... Each week Diane over at A picture is worth a 1,000 words posts some 2ND pictures of something she has...you can join in and show what you have...that's what I'm doing today...as I was walking around the house this morning, I realize that 90% of our house's contents fit in this category...and I couldn't be happier...I love that what fills our home is full of stories, memories, and love!!! And you can never have too much of that in your house, right?!?!
My 2ND hand treasure I picked to show you is an old tin barn a got a year or so ago at an auction...I can't recall what I payed for it, but I can guarantee it wasn't a lot...I have a $10 limit/rule I try to stick by...most of the time...anyway, I probably paid 5 bucks for it...it is held together by wire on each side...Jim says he can fix it for me, but I haven't decided if I want to take that wire off...someone came up with that so they could keep playing with it, and I don't want to ruin that...the animals inside the barn are some we've picked up at garage sales, etc...it's located in our spare bedroom along with some other old farm stuff and metal toys and a whole bunch of other farm animals!!!! Enjoy!!!

I love that barn and I noticed the last time I was sleeping in that room all of the old toys in it.

Hi Traci,
I'm glad you found my blog and linked to 2nd Time Around! Hope you will post again next Tues.

I love the barn...my kids had one...and it was probably from a garage sale!
