First of all I would like to apologize for not keeping my blog current these last couple weeks...our computer has been very naughty and I've only been able to get on the Internet maybe a total of 15 minutes during that time!!!!!!!!!! Nice, huh!!
Hayden's first day of kindergarten was on Monday...
He was ready, I was ready, Jim was ready, Case was ready...Hayden's been somewhat bored and picking on and sassing everyone in sight for the last few weeks...maybe God was getting us ready to him being gone most of the day at school!?!?!
6:15 am came too early for this little guy snuggled up in his blankets...
My Aunt Marsha gave me this idea of writing a little heart on his hand for the first few days so if he got a little home-sick or scared, he could look at his hand and know that our hearts are with him and we love him...he loved this and Case had one as well...

We have to take Hayden down the road about a mile to get on the bus...these are the kids that live at that house...Hayden has already made friends with the two boys...so far every afternoon when picking him up has been a fight...he wants to stay at their house and play!!!!!!!!!!!! Great, and it's only day 3...
Yikes...is it just me or does that school bus look gigantic??
This was my little boy on the big bus driving away on his first day...as I was crying...was he sitting down, was he scared, was he sitting toward the front so the bus driver could keep an eye on him, would he know to get off at the school and wonder which door he needs to go in...will there be teachers and helpers to make sure he even got in to the building and just didn't wander off down the road?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!?!?!?
Calm down momma, kids do this everyday and they made it through!!!!
Getting of the bus...he gets on the bus at 7:20am and doesn't get home until 4:15pm...that's a long day for a little boy...
This was taken on Tuesday morning....which was the first morning both the boys would be at school and I would be by myself for the first time...
and I have to say, it was nice...
and when asking Hayden so far what has been his most favorite thing...the bus....!!!

Good job mama! It is hard! You are more brave than me! I have yet to let them do the bus! I am glad that you could put them on at Heather's!
