Friday in Phoenix...
Well, first of all, I can't believe last week we were in Ph,AZ...this week has flown by and I have not really unpacked my suitcase yet or got all the laundry done...
Here's uncle Bucky and his shadow...this child idolizes Buck!
Buck and I did get in a few spats over me telling Case what he needed to wear for some photo's and Buck had his own idea of what Case should wear!!! We argued and argued over these topics the whole time...I wanted to spank both of them!!!!!!!!!!!
This is baby Sophia...I love her...she was so sweet...this was the first time I had met her, but felt as though I had known her since she was born because of following her momma's blog...Jessica "Our Life". Case was in "ah"of her the whole trip, but would never call her by name, just by "baby".

This is Jayla...her momma was the #2 person in the wedding, you know, Jennifer...(love ya Jennifer, just kidding), (not really), yes, no..!?!?!?!?!?? :)
Anyway, this was when we were all taking our turns in getting our pictures taken with the photographer way out in a field kinda by our villa...it was quite the hike...not anything I'd like to do again in sandals....but it was a lot of fun and we all had a ton of laughs...I can't wait to see how those pictures turn out...and let me mention that our photographers van got stuck in the field trying to load her prop couch...Buck was calling me back at the villa demanding me to find a 4x4 truck with a tow rope....sure Bucky, I'll get right on that...a lot of people have those in Phoenix...long story short, Kent and Buck got her out and everyone was still speaking to each other, so it was all good....
After the monster van-muddin' event, we headed back to the villa's where Kent grilled out some dinner for all of us...it was a lot of fun...Jenni handed out wonderful little gifts to the bridesmaids...we each got a handmade clutch in her wedding colors, perfume, necklace & a monogrammed compact mirror with an monogrammed pouch...I'll post picture of these little treasures another time...
GG, Oliver Darby, Hayden and me...
(FYI...I will have a pair of boots like jenni's before the years over)
(still missing my brother and sister like crazy) just so ya know...

thursday evening events....
oops, I totally forgot to post Thursday's pictures yesterday...
Here comes the bride...for the rehearsal at the church...she just took my breath away when she came strolling around the corner...I swear, she could wear a paper bag and make it look elegant!!
My girls...it looks like gma is trying to secretly tell me something out of the corner of her mouth in return making an awful face for this picture!! :)
After the rehearsal at the church, we had dinner and cocktails at the Hilton's restaurant...I think that's what it was called...by that point I was exhausted...
* a little FYI for ya...the boys and I (Jim couldn't go since this is a crazy busy time at work) left Wednesday morning around 11:00am to pick up Buck and Thea in Siebert, CO at 7:00pm. We drove all night until we reached Phoenix...which was 11:oo or so the next morning...yikes!!!
Anyway, this is Case getting ready to eat a steak at the dinner...
The boys and I soon went back to the villa and passed out on our beds...I didn't sleep well, but it was nice to lay in a bed and not be upright in a vehicle seat!! :)

We finally made it to Phoenix...the first morning...
Who wouldn't want to wake up to this every morning!?!?!!? Well, I was lucky enough to see this on Friday morning...our first one in Phoenix in our Villa. It was 5:45am...with 2 hours time difference, I was up early a lot...
Jenni and I, of course, had to use Buck's hat again as a prop for some silly pictures only my family would think is funny...
This one is Jenni casually reading a cooking magazine while out in the breeze way with "the hat".
(of course this is staged...)
Also in the breezeway was this little statue women...it looked religious so we went with it...maybe she's praying Buck doesn't wake up until after her and I are finished playing with the sacred hat!!
Case must have eaten 50 mini bags of chips on this trip...and I'm not kidding around either!!! I loved this chair he's sitting in, I wanted to take it home with me...
Buck is known for undressing wherever he pleases when he's ready for bed...this morning we found his stuff in the living room...mom placed it as if he was still in them...there's only one sock (I placed it in his imaginary hand), the other one was outside on the patio from when he was contemplating swimming across the lake for $100 from Jenni!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Don't worry, I have a ton more pictures, I'm dog tired and will post them all week)!!
Did I mention I'm having "sibling withdraws"!!!??? I am.

JD boy...
We had a wienie roast for our church Sunday evening...our friend Jill had it at their house...Case loved it...they had a John Deere tractor...I love these pictures of him...I used the "color swap" feature on my camera...
P.S. we're leaving for our trip to Phoenix...no blogging for me until next week when we're back...

My good friend is moving...
Two years ago I met Christine (pictured in the middle) at the preschool where Hayden was going and her daughter Camille was also going...one day out of the blue she asked the boys and I to come over after school and play and have lunch!! The rest is history...
She has been a great friend...she makes me laugh, loves my boys like they're her own, watches the boys for me anytime and at the last minute...I've watched her kids a few times...we just got along like our families had known each other for many years...so you can understand why I am sad, very sad and actually have tears in my eyes while I'm typing this...
She and her husband and four children are moving to Utah on Friday!!!
Jenn, Christine and I went out to dinner last night for one last get together...then walked to Braum's for a little treat...and for the last couple weeks Christine has been on a mission to get rid of as much stuff as possible...I loaded up their couch, a book shelf, and then she emptied out the frig and sacked up some condiments for Jenn and I to take home...and there have been countless other items leave her house and come to mine!!!!! I guess this way every time I sit on the couch, take a book from the book shelf, cut an onion, put dressing on a salad, etc...I will think of Christine....!!!! :)
I will truly miss her and her family like crazy!!!
