Last Friday evening (after shower pic's)...

Well, if you've ever been around Jenni, Buck and I...even mom, you know the real party doesn't start until after everyone has gone home and it's just us four lurking around...give us a couple props and we can laugh for hours...stupid stuff...but very funny in our eyes...that's what I absolutely love about my family...Jim, Thea, and Kent included...we can turn any moment in to something hilarious and funny!!!! Don't ever be the first one to bed around us...you just might end up with a snot rag wrapped around your head like a do rag...sorry Case and Hayden...Emma, you might want to keep your pretty little doll locked up tight...

First of all, my room was called the "Barnyard"...fitting since I have raccoons for children...and somehow Emma slept in our room too...the more the merrier!!
Here's a little tidbit for ya...I have terrible allergies and since I can remember, I have carried a hanky around, yes, like an old man in his back pocket...anyway, Buck got a hold of it and it was on the boys' heads ASAP for our first photo's...like I said, don't go to sleep while we're still awake...WARNING ,WARNING!!!

Jenni and Kent's room was the "Birdhouse"... once again the name of the room very fitting for Jenni as well, we have always called her "bird"or "birdie"...this picture is of her squawking like a fine feathered friend...we thought it was funny!?!?!

Buck must have been digging through our bags...he found some undies for Case to use as a nightcap...don't worry, they were clean!!

Kent, being new to the family, decided to go to bed early...not smart Kent, not smart...as the snot rag ended up on his head too...jeez, we're sick aren't we!!!

Jenni found a tiny lantern, we thought it was hilarious that she was using it like she was finding her way through the little house on the prairie house...apparently Kent didn't find the humor in it like we did...notice his finger!!!

Poor Emma brought her cute little baby doll...well, Jenni got a hold of it and we had a grand old time playing like it was real...
Jenni and Buck taking the little lady for a walk...it looks like the doll has a nightgown on?!?!

Please note that it was very late at night...we were trying to be quiet...a quiet roar!!!

Piggy back anyone!?!?! You'll have to wait your turn...

Proud papa...her arms look a little stiff...it looks like she wants to give Bucky a hug...

Also on the guest list...Hugh Hefner...

We staged this picture...Jenni is supposed to look upset (even though she's smiling) because she has no boobs and Thea has a shirt on that says something about flat hills or I don't know I can't remember, but it was about boobs...

Karate Kid III...coming to a theater near you...
Buck and Thea...nice ding dong face you have there Buck...
we were so excited to have these two drive back from Colorado for the weekend to be there...it was fantastic...it is NOT very often we're all together at the same time...and what I love is that no matter how long it's been since we've seen each other, we can pick up with each other immediately and have so much fun...ahh family love!!!! :)

We got breakfast served to us both mornings we were there...it was a nice change- not being the one to make it and clean up...I could go for that every morning!!!

Later that morning we started sitting up for the reception outside....Case was helping push the hay of the back of mom's old pick-up that I named "the rod"...
We are so lucky to have Kent, Emma, Thea, and of course my honey Jim in our family (a little side note ...he knows by now that it's not safe to be around us siblings late at night..for some reason he opted to stay at his mom's house in town...chicken!!!)...they fit right in like gloves!!!!! I am very proud of everyone and lucky to have them all by my side...I absolutely HATED to see the weekend come to an end...that meant it was back to reality and everyone parted ways to go back to their normal lives...but not for long...the wedding in Phoenix is coming up in October...hope you're ready for a ton of what we call "funny" pictures with who knows what kind of props...new state, new props...

gg's (jenni) wedding shower on Friday evening...

Well, we've been planning and getting ready for Jenni, Kent and Emma to come back for the Kansas celebration...and it was finally here...

Friday we hit the road and headed back to Winfield to "The Barns at Timber Creek"...it's an old huge barn that someone has transformed in to an awesome bed and breakfast and also a wedding/reception/event place...and since our theme for the Ks reception was "county-ish" on Saturday, it was the perfect location(will be posting those pic's tomorrow)...

Jim had to work all day Friday, but believe me his pick-up will plenty full with decor, food, etc for the 2 events...the boys and I went in the car...we couldn't even fit a pebble in the trunk...it was full to the max...and so was the front seat (see below)...

The shower was Friday evening at 7:00pm...guests were showing up and I was not even dressed for the shower yet!!!!! It was a fantastic time and had probably about 20-25 guests...we had fruits, veggies, cookies, punch, and Boone's Farm wine...remember that...!! We had a couple fun games...cotton ball transfer game, and "how well do you know the bride"...my favorite part...seeing my beautiful sister glowing with happiness and excitement!!! I miss her...wished she lived a lot closer!!!
Our aunt Marsha and me...

My BFF Jamie and I...
Aunt Kelle, aunt Leslie, Grandma Norma and GG

My really good friends that I've known forever!!! (Lisa & Kim)

Four years ago...

Four years ago...we had a tiny...well, not real tiny (8lb 4oz) baby boy...
Case Stevens...
He's a little sweetheart with his own way of doing things...we couldn't love him anymore than we already do...

Happy Birthday Case-we love you.

Big boy Case unloading hay for us over the weekend at aunt GG and uncle Tent's reception...
he was so proud about being able to push the hay out for us.
This was last year...I guess he doesn't look that much different...except for the Jim Carrey haircut...

lunch date...

Yesterday, Case and I surprised Hayden at school for one of the fabulous lunches!!! We had turkey sandwiches, carrot sticks, 3 french fries, and pineapple rings (2)...oh and milk!!

Hayden was very surprised and happy...he made sure that I knew to hold the try with both hands, to eat quietly and if I see a teachers hand go up or the yellow light go on...we were to quiet down!!! Geezz...I remember our lunches being a freakin' free for all and crazy...

It was fun getting to see him in his new environment...I asked what they did after they cleaned their trays...he said they sit over on the bleachers until lunch is over, but I should probably just go on home and not sit over there...I said Hayden do you not want momma to sit over there with you...he just laughed...

So I went home after hugging and kissing my little baby and left him there...

Hot rod b-day bike...

Sunday Case picked out his new bike for his birthday...it looks like a motorcycle...how appropriate since he loves to go fast and make "hot rod" noises while playing or riding on his toys...he loves his new bike and was quite good riding it going from a tricycle to a big boy bike...yesterday he wanted daddy to take the training wheels off...not so fast little boy...

Early morning with Case...

HI....I've missed you!! THIS time our computer is really fixed!!!

These three pictures, I took last week around 7:30-8:00am...while Hayden's away at school, Case loves to play outside and "farm". This day he had planted some wheat and some carrots that grow apples...yes, that's what he told me...

I know the sun is very bright in the background and you can't really see his face, but I will always know that these are pictures of Case!! His outfit, his silhouette, what he's doing, etc...like they say..."a mother always knows".
